Ultrasound (ultrasonic sounding)
Designed to detect defects in semi-finished products and welded joints, to measure the depth and coordinates of their occurrence, thickness, propagation velocity and attenuation of ultrasonic vibrations in the material. Ultrasonic thickened metry, designed to control the walls of vessels, pipes, boilers and other products in the range of 0.5 to 300 mm.
RADIATION DEFECTOSCOPY - X-RAY AND GAMMA - GRAPHIC METHOD OF CONTROL
X-ray and gammography is a method of obtaining an X-ray film or image of an object (product) radiographed by X-ray or gamma radiation. It is based on the ability of X-ray and gamma radiation to pass through opaque objects, including through metals, and act on X-ray film and some chemical elements, whereby latter fluoresce (glow).
In this case, the defects that occur during welding in the article and most often have the character of voids (fissures, cracks, shells, pores, etc.) on the X-ray film (on X-rays) are stains (sinks, pores) .
VMC - VISUAL MEASURING CONTROL
This is one of the methods of nondestructive testing of the optical type. It is based on obtaining primary information about the monitored object with visual observation or with the help of optical instruments and measuring instruments. This is an organoleptic control, i. perceived by the senses (organs of vision).
Capillary defectoscopy is designed to detect surface and through defects in basic materials and welded joints with an opening with of at least 1 μm.
METHOD OF TECHNESCENCE
The method of leak detection is a kind of nondestructive testing that ensures the detection of end-to-end defects in products and structures based on the penetration of penetrating substances through such defects. Teak is called the channel or porous part of the septum, which breaks its tightness, that is, the leakage is through and porous. Often the term "leakage" is replaced by the term "tightness control". All vessels, apparatuses and pipelines of the oil and gas chemical industry intended for storage, processing and transportation of liquid and gaseous substances shall be tested for strength and tightness.
